The Helix Scarf in Pearlescent Periwinkle
$80.00
The Helix Scarf is for anyone who loves a little softness and movement—yes, even a bit of ruffle now and then. It is knitted in a commercial light, airy mohair and silk blend that has the loveliest halo and feels almost weightless to wear.
It’s an easy piece to reach for. Dress it up with your favorite jewelry for a night out, or wear it with a simple top and jeans when you want something casual but still pulled together.
This is one of my favorite patterns to knit. It’s simple garter stitch with short rows, and the yarn really gets to shine without competing with anything too busy. The shape creates those gentle waves that make the scarf feel a little special without trying too hard.
The pattern was designed by the late Stephenie Gastaud and first appeared in Jane Austen Knits (2011). It’s now available as a free pattern, and one I come back to again and again.
