Hand-knit from three-ply handspun yarn, Cedarbury Cowl in Moss & Thistle Handspun showcases the rich texture and character that only handspun can provide. The yarn began as spindle-spun singles made from colorful rolags, then was wheel-plied into a balanced three-ply yarn with softly shifting bands of tweedy color.
The sturdy, rounded structure of the handspun highlights the cables and textured stitches, while flecks of color appear and disappear throughout the fabric. Warm, comfortable, and one of a kind, this cowl celebrates both the spinning and knitting that brought it to life.
