Hello, friends!

Welcome, and thank you for stopping by Fiber Pearls.

Before I share what’s been happening in the studio, I’d like to introduce Pearl. Also known as Princess Powder Puff Pearl, she joined my household a little over five weeks ago. Pearl quickly settled into her role as studio supervisor, though she prefers to supervise from afar. She’s so well behaved that she simply watches whatever I’m doing without getting into a thing—unless I purposely hand her an iCord bundle to encourage a photo opportunity. How unusual is that for a feline?

I’d also like to thank everyone who has visited the shop, shared kind words, or made a purchase since launch. Your support means more than you know.

Since launching Fiber Pearls on June 1, I’ve spent some time catching my breath, filling orders, and planning what comes next. The past few weeks have been a welcome opportunity to settle into life as a small business owner while thinking about future projects.

There is a variety of handspun yarns available in the shop, ranging from lace weight to art yarns. While my primary focus is handspun yarns, I’ve also created a few fiber batts for spinners and discovered that I really enjoy making these little fiber blankets. Creating rolags is next on my to-do list, so please check back regularly for new additions to the shop.

Summer has officially arrived! The past few days have been beautiful in New Hampshire—perfect for sitting on the patio or deck with a favorite beverage and some type of handwork. It’s never too early to start thinking about Christmas gifts, whether it’s a knitted, crocheted, or woven item made from one-of-a-kind yarns, or even gifting a special knitter a special skein of yarn.

Thank you for visiting, and I hope you’ll stop by again soon to see what’s new in the studio.
